Job Description:
Company Description Waterproof Montana provides comprehensive below and above grade waterproofing and dampproofing solutions for new commercial and residential construction across Montana and select surrounding states. With offices in Whitefish, MT and Bozeman, MT, we are well-positioned to serve a wide range of locations. WPMT is an authorized installer of numerous premium products including American Hydrotech, GCP, GMX/Garland, Sika, WR Meadows, Henry, PolyGuard, and others. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in either Whitefish, MT or Bozeman, MT. The Waterproofer will be responsible for applying waterproofing and dampproofing materials to a variety of surfaces, preparing surfaces for waterproofing applications, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining tools and equipment. The Waterproofer will also be required to follow project specifications and timelines, and may need to work in various weather conditions. Work is a mix of residential and commercial/government jobsites throughout Western Montana. Qualifications Experience with waterproofing and dampproofing techniques and materials (manufacturer certifications are preferred, but not necessary) Experience with flat roofing to include EPDM/TPO/PVC and other specialty project materials preferred Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry (OSHA) Ability to prepare surfaces and apply waterproofing products Experience with premium waterproofing products such as American Hydrotech, GCP, GMX/Garland, Tremco, Sikka, WR Meadows, Henry, PolyGuard, Dow, and DuPont Ability to follow project specifications and timelines Good communication, documentation, and teamwork skills Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions Previous construction experience is a plus Valid driver's license Willingness and ability to travel throughout Western Montana for project durations.
