In this energetic role, you will be responsible for the complete construction of custom swimming pools, ensuring each project is executed with precision, safety, and craftsmanship. From initial site preparation to final finishing touches, you will play a vital part in transforming outdoor spaces into stunning aquatic retreats. This position offers a hands-on, fast-paced environment where your skills in construction and attention to detail will shine. Whether you're experienced in heavy equipment operation or skilled in detailed finishing work, your expertise will help deliver exceptional results that exceed client expectations. Duties Prepare construction sites by clearing, grading, and setting up necessary safety barriers and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute pool designs. Install plumbing systems, electrical wiring, and filtration equipment essential for pool operation. Use hand tools and power tools to shape concrete forms, install steel reinforcement, and perform concrete finishing. Fabricate and assemble structural components such as walls, decks, and coping using carpentry, masonry, and framing techniques. Apply waterproofing materials like plastering or stucco; caulk joints; and install tiles, glass panels, or other finishes for aesthetic appeal. Operate heavy machinery including excavators and loaders safely to excavate pools and move materials efficiently. Conduct construction inspections throughout each phase to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications. Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects or restorations involving existing pool structures or hardscape features. Maintain detailed records of project progress, materials used, and inspections performed using tools like Bluebeam software. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on pool or outdoor structure building preferred. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings related to pool construction. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication techniques. Familiarity with plumbing systems, electrical wiring standards, concrete forming, masonry, tile laying, plastering, stucco application, and roofing is highly desirable. Ability to interpret technical schematics related to electrical systems or plumbing layouts. Experience with construction management practices including estimating costs and scheduling projects efficiently. Knowledge of safety protocols on construction sites to ensure a secure working environment for all team members.
