In this role, you will be responsible for installing durable and aesthetically pleasing paving surfaces, including walkways, driveways, patios, and other hardscape features. Your expertise in concrete forming, masonry, and the use of hand and power tools will ensure high-quality results that meet project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to beautifying outdoor spaces while honing your skills in construction and hardscape installation. Responsibilities Prepare work sites by clearing, leveling, and setting up forms for paving projects using concrete forming techniques. Install pavers, bricks, stones, and other materials with precision to ensure proper alignment and durability. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to cut, shape, and place paving materials efficiently. Mix and pour concrete for setting pavers or creating foundational elements as needed. Install rebar reinforcement and perform concrete finishing to achieve smooth surfaces and long-lasting results. Collaborate with team members on renovation projects involving stucco, plastering, or carpentry tasks related to paving structures. Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on hardscape or masonry projects. Skilled in concrete finishing, rebar installation, tile laying, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material calculations. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation relevant to paving projects is a plus. Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites to maintain a secure work environment.
