Experienced Painters

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering top-quality painting services across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paints, stains, sealers, and specialty coatings using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, and power tools for efficient coverage. Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope, color schemes based on color theory principles, and specific finishing requirements. Execute various types of painting projects including residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting, restoration work, and industrial coatings. Perform related tasks such as fixture installation, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry touch-ups, concrete finishing, welding repairs, and maintenance tasks as needed on-site. Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project materials and time requirements while maintaining safety standards on construction sites. Collaborate with team members including carpenters and handyman specialists to ensure seamless project execution during remodeling or renovation projects. Qualifications Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting or industrial coatings with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics; understanding of construction drawings is essential. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as brushes, rollers, caulking guns, power tools including airless sprayers and welding equipment. Knowledge of color theory for achieving desired aesthetic effects; familiarity with restoration techniques is a plus. Ability to perform plastering, stucco application, masonry work, framing carpentry and trim carpentry with precision. Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety protocols; familiarity with schematics and basic math for measurements is required. Strong handyman skills including fixture installation and general maintenance; experience with concrete finishing or masonry is advantageous.
