Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality Execute painting tasks using hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and conventional spray equipment for residential, commercial, and industrial projects Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute surface treatments and color schemes Conduct surface repairs including masonry, stucco application, drywall finishing, and restoration work to ensure smooth and durable finishes Apply various coatings such as paint, stain, varnish, or industrial finishes while following safety regulations and using appropriate respiratory protection Perform site-specific surface preparation including sanding, scraping, masking, and fixture installation to meet project specifications Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools like hand tools and scaffolding equipment while adhering to safety protocols at all times Skills Extensive experience with construction estimating and interpreting technical drawings or schematics Proficiency in residential painting techniques along with commercial and industrial spray painting methods Strong knowledge of color theory for effective visual color comparison and matching Skilled in surface preparation including plastering, caulking, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, masonry, and concrete finishing Ability to operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, welding equipment, and scaffolding safely Familiarity with construction site experience including blueprint reading and renovation processes Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction painting surfaces and respiratory protection measures Basic math skills for measuring areas accurately and estimating material needs Experience with fixture installation, maintenance tasks, remodeling projects, welding basics or handyman work is a plus Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces with precision craftsmanship!
