Skilled Painter

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Painter to join our dynamic construction and painting team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces in residential, and commercial. Your expertise will ensure that projects are completed with precision, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Execute residential and commercial painting projects using hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and other equipment. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project scope and specifications. Apply various coatings including stucco, industrial paints, masonry finishes, and restoration coatings with precision. Perform trim carpentry, fixture installation, framing, drywall finishing, and masonry work as needed during projects. Use construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed for timely completion. Maintain safety standards on construction sites by handling tools properly and following protocols for scaffolding, and working at heights. Assist with remodeling projects by providing handyman services such as carpentry repairs or maintenance tasks. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects stay on schedule while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship. Strong knowledge of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects. Skilled in using hand tools (brushes, rollers), power tools (sanders, drills), Graco paint sprayers, and welding equipment. Ability to perform plastering, caulking, stucco application, masonry work, concrete finishing, and masonry repairs. Familiarity with renovation processes including fixture installation and restoration work. Basic math skills for estimating materials and measuring surfaces accurately. Experience with construction estimating to plan project scope efficiently. Knowledge of schematics related to industrial painting systems or maintenance procedures. Hands-on experience with framing carpentry, trim carpentry, drywall finishing, masonry techniques, and concrete finishing. Ability to read technical schematics related to industrial or commercial painting systems. Strong problem-solving skills combined with handyman experience for versatile project support.
