Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Demolition Worker to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently tearing down structures, preparing sites for new construction, and assisting with various demolition tasks. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to demolish structures and remove debris Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute demolition tasks accurately Assist with site preparation by stripping materials, removing fixtures, and managing waste disposal Conduct inspections of demolition sites to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols Collaborate with construction management to plan demolition sequences and coordinate with other trades such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry teams Use specialized techniques such as concrete breaking, masonry removal, and framing dismantling to execute demolition projects efficiently Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety regulations and procedures Qualifications Proven experience in demolition work or general construction site experience is highly preferred Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of construction safety standards and OSHA regulations Familiarity with construction management, estimating, inspection processes, and site restoration techniques is a plus Experience with various construction trades such as masonry, carpentry (including trim carpentry), roofing, stucco application, glass installation, cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, welding, concrete finishing, plastering, fabrication, caulking, door hanging, framing carpentry, drywall work or restoration projects is advantageous Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks consistently Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to building excellence! $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
