Job Overview:

We are hiring experienced masonry crews for ongoing residential subdivision work with Esperanza Homes. This is consistent, high-volume work for crews that can deliver clean, professional results and stay on schedule.

Responsibilities:

Install brick veneer per elevation plans and specifications Lay brick using Type N mortar with consistent joints (max 1/2") Install brick ties correctly (every 2' vertically and 16•24" O.C.) Ensure first course is level and flush with foundation Install lintels properly over all openings (windows, doors, etc.) Maintain proper weep holes (every 5 bricks and above lintels) Follow all expansion joint requirements per plans (max 3/8") Use wet saws for all cuts (clean, precise work only) Ensure proper slope on windowsills for drainage Keep mortar color consistent throughout project Clean brick and job site as work progresses

Requirements:

Proven masonry / bricklaying experience Must have own tools and equipment Ability to read and follow plans and elevations Must follow all safety and quality standards Must show up on time and meet deadlines Reliable transportation

Work Conditions & Expectations:

Work begins only after shingles and flashing are complete Must protect all surrounding areas (windows, doors, flatwork) No damage to existing structures (especially roofing) All materials must match approved selections Any mistakes or non-compliant work must be corrected at your cost

Pay is tied to production, quality, and meeting deadlines Back charges may apply for: Missed schedules Poor workmanship Failure to meet specifications Warranty required on workmanship (1 year)
