Job description: Overview Join our dynamic team as a Painter and bring vibrant visions to life across residential, commercial, and renovation projects! This energetic role offers the opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship, attention to detail, and expertise in a variety of painting techniques. As a key contributor to our construction and remodeling teams, you'll transform spaces with precision and creativity, ensuring high-quality finishes that exceed client expectations. We are committed to fostering a positive work environment where your skills are valued and your professional growth is supported. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately determine project scope and specifications. Execute residential and commercial painting projects with attention to detail, including trim carpentry, fixture installation, stucco application, and restoration work. Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed for efficient job completion. Perform surface preparation tasks like masonry work, concrete finishing, framing, drywall installation, and masonry repairs as needed. Maintain safety standards on construction sites by properly handling tools such as scaffolding, ladders, welding equipment (if applicable), and other hand tools. Collaborate with team members on renovation projects involving carpentry, plastering, caulking, masonry, or industrial painting tasks. Assist with maintenance tasks around the site including handyman repairs or general upkeep of equipment and facilities. Requirements Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or construction painting with a strong understanding of color theory and finishing techniques. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools (including airless sprayers), scaffolding, and welding equipment if applicable. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately; familiarity with construction estimating is a plus. Knowledge of plastering, stucco application, caulking techniques, trim carpentry, restoration processes, and fixture installation. Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety protocols and site-specific procedures. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project scope. Versatile skill set including masonry work, concrete finishing, framing carpentry, renovation projects or handyman experience preferred. Strong communication skills combined with a proactive attitude toward teamwork in fast-paced environments. Join us as a Painter—where your craftsmanship transforms spaces into works of art!
