In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality siding materials on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring durability, aesthetic appeal, and customer satisfaction. Duties Measure and prepare surfaces for siding installation using blueprint reading and schematics to ensure precise fitment. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and install various siding materials including vinyl, metal, stucco, or fiber cement. Perform heavy lifting of siding panels, insulation, and related materials safely and efficiently on construction sites. Apply caulking, trim carpentry, and masonry techniques to achieve seamless finishes and weatherproofing. Read blueprints and schematics accurately to follow project specifications for framing, metal stud framing, or restoration work. Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation procedures while adhering to safety standards on construction sites. Collaborate with team members such as carpenters, masons, plumbers, or roofers to coordinate tasks effectively during remodeling or renovation projects. Experience Proven construction site experience with a focus on siding installation or exterior finishing projects. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and schematics reading for accurate project planning. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, tile laying, and heavy lifting techniques. Knowledge of various building materials including stucco, metal studs, concrete forming, framing carpentry, and restoration methods. Prior handyman experience or skills in roofing, plumbing, masonry, or remodeling is highly advantageous. Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics confidently while maintaining safety protocols at all times.
