We have a new opportunity for an experienced Commercial Journeyman Plumber with a strong mechanical background to join our Federal Operations and Maintenance Team based in Anchorage, Alaska.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, test, and repair plumbing and HVAC mechanical systems, related piping systems, control valves, and all other related equipment, in accordance with plumbing and HVAC codes. Must have the ability to read and understand design documents. Must have the ability to lead projects and manage change. Ability to estimate time and material jobs. Maintain customer satisfaction and exceed customers' expectations. Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Vocational High School Diploma, trade school certification, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Minimum of five (5) years' experience in commercial plumbing and installation.
Alaska Journeyman's Plumbers License Additional Qualifications:
Self- starter, able to work in a team environment and able to install from bid specifications. Will be required to travel to remote locations at times. Physical ability to bend, reach, climb, and lift 45+ lbs. without assistance. Strong verbal, written, computer communication (MS Office) and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task, follow through, and meet deadlines.
