Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Utilize power tools and hand tools to perform various plumbing tasks. Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to specifications. Conduct pipe threading and welding as necessary for system installations. Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions. Collaborate with other tradespeople on remodeling projects. Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Qualifications Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Valid commercial driving license preferred but not required. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
