Job Description
We are a local, family owned plumbing business in the Wiregrass. We take pride in serving the wiregrass with top notch customer service while providing quality work. Our goal is to build a long lasting relationship with our customers and to have a great, friendly team who provides plumbing, septic and grease pumping, and drain cleaning services to the community. We are seeking a full-time individual with a Licensed CDL Class B for a manual transmission Monday through Friday with an on call weekend rotation schedule. Our intent is long term employment with the opportunity of growth in the company. We offer competitive pay, Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay, Simple IRA Retirement (match), and uniforms for our employees. This position will be performing service work on plumbing systems in commercial and residential environments.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License and CDL Class B License
- Ability to operate basic hand tools necessary for the craft
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a hard work ethic
- Professional appearance and personality
- Must be able to lift and carry equipment and materials weighing up to 50lbs on a frequent basis and 100lbs on an occasional basis; prolonged standing and frequent stooping, bending, and reaching on a daily basis
- Motivated to thrive in fast moving environments, and able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines
- Must be able to pass background check and drug test
Specific Responsibilities:
Ability to drive company truck responsibly Pump and maintain residential and commercial septic and grease traps Maintain customer pump schedule Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential environments Perform drain cleaning on plumbing systems Perform minor to complex service work on plumbing systems Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, cleaned, and in good working order and condition Please submit a thorough resume to be considered.
