Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Apprentice Plumber and kickstart your career in the construction and plumbing industry! You'll develop essential skills in construction plumbing, pipe installation, blueprint reading, and mechanical systems, all while gaining valuable field service expertise. Duties Assist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively Support the assembly and installation of pipes, fixtures, valves, and mechanical components following schematics and technical instructions Conduct routine maintenance inspections to identify issues with plumbing or HVAC systems and report findings promptly Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times Experience Prior experience or familiarity with construction site environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Basic knowledge of construction plumbing principles and mechanical systems is a plus Ability to read simple blueprints or schematics demonstrates a strong foundation for growth in this role Strong problem-solving skills combined with basic math proficiency are important for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes accurately Previous handyman or remodeling experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; willingness to learn new skills is key Embark on a rewarding journey into the world of plumbing with us!
