Plumber

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential properties. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing techniques, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Assemble and install various types of piping systems using hand tools and welding techniques. Perform remodeling tasks related to plumbing installations or upgrades. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues or leaks. Utilize basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements. Execute pipe threading for various plumbing applications. Handle heavy lifting associated with transporting materials and equipment. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects as needed. Requirements Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to plumbing work. Strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety regulations. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work in various environments. A maintenance person background is a plus for additional versatility in tasks.
