The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction plumbing and a strong understanding of various plumbing systems. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work effectively on construction sites. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential. Position is hourly plus commission. Duties Discussing findings with customer and present estimates Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete plumbing tasks. Perform pipe threading and assembly for various plumbing applications. Conduct heavy lifting as needed for installation and repairs. Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project completion. Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Strong knowledge of construction practices, particularly in construction plumbing. Proficiency in welding techniques related to plumbing installations. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry skills. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Mechanical knowledge applicable to plumbing systems and HVAC installations. Familiarity with basic math for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. Experience with pipe threading techniques and assembly processes. Capability for heavy lifting as required by the job demands. Previous experience on construction sites is highly desirable. Maintenance Person experience is a plus, showcasing versatility in various repair tasks. Knowledge of remodeling practices can enhance service offerings.
