In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all building codes and safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize a wide range of tools and techniques, and contribute to the successful completion of construction and remodeling initiatives. A strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience with plumbing systems, and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this energetic role. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances on construction sites or remodeling projects Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment to assemble and install plumbing components Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues related to leaks, blockages, or faulty connections; perform necessary repairs promptly Collaborate with construction teams to ensure plumbing work aligns with project timelines and specifications Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols Assist in remodeling projects by performing carpentry tasks or handyman duties as needed Skills Proven experience in construction plumbing and general construction site work Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing and HVAC systems Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and assembly techniques Mechanical knowledge of piping systems, schematics interpretation, and HVAC components Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work Familiarity with construction safety standards and site protocols Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for transporting materials or equipment Experience with remodeling projects or handyman tasks is a plus Join us as a Plumber Technician and bring your expertise to exciting construction projects!
