Journeyman Plumber Position Summary:

Drain Optics Plumbing is seeking a skilled, customer-focused Journeyman Plumber to diagnose, repair, and install residential plumbing systems throughout San Diego County. This position is ideal for a plumber who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates well with homeowners, and is committed to delivering a premium customer experience. About Drain Optics Drain Optics is a modern plumbing company specializing in drain diagnostics, sewer inspections, drain cleaning, hydro jetting, leak repairs, water heaters, repipes, and premium residential plumbing services.

Help homeowners see the problem, understand the solution, and feel confident they are making the right decision. Responsibilities Diagnose residential plumbing and drain issues. Perform drain cleaning, sewer inspections, hydro jetting, and drain repairs. Repair and replace water heaters, fixtures, toilets, faucets, disposals, and water lines. Perform leak detection and plumbing system troubleshooting. Present findings and repair options clearly and professionally to homeowners. Capture photos and videos to document findings and completed work. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle. Complete work orders, invoices, and customer documentation accurately. Follow company safety standards and California plumbing codes. Maintain a clean work area and protect customers' homes throughout the service visit. Participate in ongoing technical and customer service training. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of residential plumbing experience preferred. Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems and California plumbing codes. Experience with drain cleaning equipment and sewer camera inspections preferred. Experience with Spartan snakes and equipment . Ability to diagnose plumbing issues independently. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Clean driving record and valid California driver's license. Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work in crawl spaces, attics, and trenches. Ability to use mobile apps, tablets, and field service software.
