In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial remodels to new construction, utilizing your technical skills and mechanical knowledge to deliver top-quality results. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts. Perform pipe fitting tasks to connect pipes securely and efficiently. Conduct remodeling projects by assembling plumbing fixtures and components according to project plans. Operate heavy lifting equipment and perform manual labor required for construction site tasks. Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations and ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Qualifications Proven experience in construction plumbing, with a strong understanding of plumbing systems and installation techniques. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machinery. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, schematics interpretation, and general construction practices. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity on construction sites. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations. Prior experience in remodeling projects or handyman work is a plus. Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred for site transportation needs.
