We are looking for motivated, professional individuals who take pride in quality workmanship, customer service, and teamwork. Whether you are an experienced Lead Installer or an Installer Helper looking to grow your career, we want to hear from you. Position Summary The Lead Plumbing Installer and Plumbing Installer Helper assist in the installation, replacement, repair, and testing of plumbing and sewer systems while maintaining the highest standards of safety, workmanship, and customer satisfaction. This position works closely with installation coordinators, warehouse personnel, service technicians, and management to ensure projects are completed efficiently and professionally. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Complete plumbing, sewer, water, gas, and related system installations safely, accurately, and efficiently. Assist with excavation, trenching, pipe installation, fixture installation, water heater installation, and system testing. Work closely with the Installation Coordinator, Warehouse Manager, and Install Lead to ensure projects are completed on schedule. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with customers. Communicate effectively with customers regarding project progress and jobsite expectations. Follow company installation standards, procedures, and quality control requirements. Complete required job documentation accurately and timely, including invoices, photos, timesheets, material usage, and installation checklists. Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked company vehicle and work area. Participate in company meetings, safety training, technical training, and continuing education programs. Assist with loading, unloading, and securing materials and equipment. Follow all applicable safety policies, OSHA requirements, and company procedures. Work collaboratively with dispatch, customer service, warehouse personnel, and fellow team members. Help resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Lead Installer Minimum 3 years of residential or commercial plumbing installation experience preferred. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, sewer systems, water distribution systems, and applicable codes. Ability to read plans, specifications, and simple diagrams. Experience leading installation crews preferred. Installer Helper Plumbing, construction, mechanical, or trade experience preferred but not required. Willingness to learn and develop plumbing installation skills. Ability to work under the direction of a Lead Installer. Required Skills and Competencies Strong work ethic and reliability. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. High level of integrity and professionalism. Ability to use smartphones, tablets, and mobile applications for job documentation. Commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Valid California Driver's License (Lead Installer required; Helper preferred). Clean driving record preferred and must be insurable under company policy. Occasionally lift more than 50 pounds with assistance. Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, crawl, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and company vehicles. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
