Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Commercial/Residential Plumber to join our team and deliver exceptional plumbing solutions across a variety of projects. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both commercial and residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that all plumbing work meets safety standards, building codes, and client specifications. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances in commercial and residential buildings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing tasks. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations and repairs efficiently. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues related to leaks, blockages, or mechanical failures; perform necessary troubleshooting. Collaborate with construction teams, electricians, HVAC technicians, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks such as pipe installation or remodeling work on construction sites. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections in compliance with company policies and local regulations. Qualifications PROVEN experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing codes and safety standards. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and schematics reading. Knowledge of construction site procedures, blueprint reading, mechanical systems, HVAC basics, and remodeling techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on various job sites; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces. Strong mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and layout. Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred for field service assignments.
