Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise in construction plumbing, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure that all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites or during remodeling projects Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation of plumbing systems Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding equipment safely and effectively Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment necessary for plumbing tasks while adhering to safety protocols Conduct system inspections to identify issues related to HVAC, mechanical components, or plumbing fixtures Assist with remodeling projects by providing skilled plumbing services and handyman tasks as needed Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress for each job Qualifications Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a strong background in construction plumbing and site work Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems and general building maintenance practices Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other related tools Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces for extended periods Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for transporting materials or equipment to job sites Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting plumbing issues Must have transportation to job site Must have own hand tools, bigger tools will be provided Prior experience with remodeling projects, assembly work, or handyman tasks is advantageous Strong safety awareness with adherence to construction site safety standards Join our team to build a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible difference!
