Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyworker Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing and construction, with the ability to work effectively on various projects. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints, performing field service tasks, and maintaining plumbing systems. The Journeyworker Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing installations and repairs meet industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Perform heavy lifting as required for installations and repairs. Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters and HVAC technicians to complete projects efficiently. Conduct field service work, addressing plumbing issues on-site as they arise. Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations during all plumbing work. Troubleshoot plumbing problems and provide effective solutions. Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites. Experience Proven experience as a Journeyworker Plumber with plumbing licence. Strong skills in blueprint reading and basic math for accurate measurements and calculations. Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with plumbing work. Experience in field service operations is a plus.
