In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing work meets safety standards and project specifications, contributing to the successful completion of residential, commercial, or industrial projects. Responsibilities Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install and repair plumbing systems. Install pipes, fixtures, valves, and other plumbing components using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment. Conduct welding and pipe fitting tasks to ensure secure and durable connections. Read and follow construction plans while adhering to safety protocols on-site. Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for pipe installation, remodeling, or repair projects. Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry or HVAC technicians to coordinate project tasks effectively. Troubleshoot plumbing issues on-site, perform repairs, and conduct routine maintenance as needed. Skills Strong knowledge of construction plumbing techniques and materials. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machines. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately. Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of HVAC systems and schematics. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety standards and protocols. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work. Familiarity with remodeling projects, assembly tasks, and handyman responsibilities. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus for transporting materials or equipment. Physical strength for heavy lifting and working in various environmental conditions.
