Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective, timely solutions Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Install and service water heaters, boilers, piping systems, fixtures, valves, pumps, and drainage systems Perform rough‑in and finish plumbing work Ensure all work meets Connecticut plumbing codes and safety standards Collaborate with contractors, supervisors, and team members on job sites Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used Qualifications Valid Connecticut plumbing license (P‑1, P‑2, S‑1, or S‑2 required) 3+ years of professional plumbing experience preferred Strong knowledge of state plumbing codes and regulations Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Experience with copper, PVC, PEX, cast iron, and gas piping Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Strong communication and customer service skills Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgeport, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $48.00/hr.
