  • Full-time We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plumbing Rough and Underground Drainage Installer to join our dynamic construction team.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of site underground drainage. These types of infrastructure are installed on both commercial and residential projects. Your expertise should include basic plumbing systems compliant with all safety and building codes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your technical skills to contribute to high-quality building projects from the ground up. Additional duties will include other labor tasks as assigned per project. Additional types of work to expect are site clean-up, running vibratory compactors, using a laser to assist with grading and elevations while machines do the heavy work, silt fence installation and light demo handwork. Duties Assist in reading detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing systems and underground drainage layouts. Install underground drainage pipes, including trenching, fitting, and securing pipes using hand tools and power tools. Perform plumbing rough-ins by positioning and securing pipes according to project specifications, ensuring proper slope and alignment for optimal flow. Ability to work around heavy machinery and construction equipment safely to complete underground piping installations. Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with pipe fittings, connections, or schematics during installation. Conduct quality checks on installed systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Proven experience in construction plumbing, including underground drainage installation and rough-in work on commercial or residential sites. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings specific to plumbing systems. Hands-on experience the use of hand tools and power tools. Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements and pipe sizing. Prior construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills. Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred for transportation between job sites.
