Join a team of over 1000 employees contributing to our success since 1960, with a proven track record of excellence in mechanical contracting. The Plumber will supervise and coordinate activities of a work crew engaged in the installation of plumbing products and equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned tradesman. Interpret specifications, blueprints, submittals, and job orders as needed for area of work. Direct installation of assemblies at job. Order material, equipment and tools as needed to maintain efficient use of labor. Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety. Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned. Study schedules and estimate man-hour requirements for completion of Analyze and resolve work problems and maintain time. Miscellaneous Reports, two week planners, labor tracking weekly report, safety reporting, tool box talks and weekly job site.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of five (5) years of commercial plumbing experience. Med Gas current Certification a plus. Basic Microsoft Office knowledge. Understand shop math, work skillfully with tools, metals, and machines. Visualize three-dimensional objects from drawings, sketches, or blueprints. Work within precise limits and standards; perform a variety of duties which often change. Rate information using measurable standards. Completion of apprenticeship program and appropriate journeyman. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to work with Planning Calendars. Perform a variety of duties which may change often.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The minimum requirements for the role are specified and are necessary to succeed in the role's application of tasks This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to perform tasks involving physical labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials, tools, or equipment. Manual material handling must be performed in accordance with OSHA safety standards and company policies to minimize risk of injury.
