In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial buildings to remodeling initiatives, utilizing your technical skills and mechanical knowledge to deliver high-quality results. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes. Perform pipe threading, fitting, and assembly to ensure secure and efficient plumbing configurations. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems on construction sites to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project tasks effectively. Use basic math skills to measure materials accurately and calculate pipe lengths or system capacities. Assist with remodeling projects by removing old fixtures and installing new plumbing components as needed. Experience Proven experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of construction plumbing techniques. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding tools for various plumbing tasks. Familiarity with reading blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings related to plumbing systems. Knowledge of HVAC systems and their integration with plumbing infrastructure is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in physically demanding environments. Prior handyman experience or involvement in remodeling projects is highly desirable. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or experience driving construction vehicles is advantageous but not mandatory.
