This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing trade while working alongside experienced plumbers in a fast-paced environment. Position Summary The Plumbing Helper assists plumbers and field supervisors with residential plumbing installations, repairs, and daily job site operations. This position supports the team by helping maintain tools, materials, and job site cleanliness while learning the plumbing trade and company processes. Key Responsibilities Assist plumbers with residential plumbing installations and repairs Help load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials Maintain clean and organized job sites Assist with rough-in, top-out, and trim phases of residential plumbing projects Dig trenches, cut pipe, and help prepare work areas as needed Deliver materials and supplies to job sites when necessary Follow company safety procedures and job site expectations Communicate professionally with team members and supervisors Support warehouse and field operations as needed Learn plumbing systems, tools, and installation processes through hands-on training Qualifications Plumbing or construction experience preferred but not required Willingness to learn and work in a physically active environment Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying conditions Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Valid driver's license preferred Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime depending on workload Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off and holidays Health, dental, and vision insurance options 401(k) retirement plan Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company Why Work for Jenkins Plumbing?
