Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Master Plumber to lead and execute complex plumbing projects across commercial and residential construction sites. As a Licensed Master Plumber, you will be responsible for ensuring all plumbing systems are installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical expertise, oversee construction plumbing operations, and contribute to building reliable infrastructure. Your leadership will help ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with all relevant codes and regulations. Duties Lead the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites, including piping, fixtures, and appliances. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts. Perform construction estimating for plumbing components and labor costs to support project planning. Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and other mechanical devices to complete plumbing tasks efficiently. Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, HVAC specialists, and other trades to coordinate work sequences and resolve technical issues. Oversee field service activities such as troubleshooting plumbing problems, performing repairs, and conducting remodeling or maintenance projects. Demonstrate strong mechanical knowledge in areas like schematics reading, HVAC integration, carpentry basics, heavy lifting techniques, and schematic interpretation. Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols while maintaining productivity on busy construction sites. Requirements Valid state-issued Master Plumber license with active certification required. Extensive experience in construction plumbing within commercial or residential settings. Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical systems understanding. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other relevant tools. Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to plumbing materials and labor costs. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed. Familiarity with HVAC systems integration and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Strong field service background with experience in remodeling or maintenance projects is preferred. Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience is a plus; ability to operate construction vehicles is advantageous. Excellent communication skills coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving; handyman experience or carpentry skills are beneficial for versatile project support.
