Service Plumber Location:
Field-Based | Marion County & Surrounding Areas Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Service Plumber to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems in occupied homes and businesses. This is a hands-on, independent field role for someone who can professionally manage their own service truck, communicate effectively with customers, and complete work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism. This is not an apprentice position. Candidates must have prior experience independently running their own plumbing service truck as a lead technician.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems
Install and repair fixtures, valves, water heaters, drainage systems, and water service components
Troubleshoot plumbing and gas systems efficiently and accurately
Perform drain cleaning, sewer camera inspections, jetting, and leak detection
Install and service water filtration systems, water softeners, and smart water systems
Inspect plumbing systems for safety, code compliance, and functionality
Build estimates and explain repair recommendations professionally to customers
Complete invoices, notes, photos, and service documentation daily
Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service truck
Ability to communicate with scheduling, purchasing, and leadership teams
Ability to represent the company professionally on every service call
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience independently running a plumbing service truck
Residential and commercial service plumbing experience required
Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Experience working with CPVC, PEX, copper, cast iron, and PVC systems
Experience using drain machines, sewer cameras, jetters, and leak detection equipment
Valid Florida driver's license for required travel
Employer conducts background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screening
Employer has attendance policy
Team-oriented attitude
High school diploma or GED preferred
Physical Requirements:
Lift and carry up to 75 lbs frequently
Work on ladders, rooftops, crawlspaces, and attics
Stand, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods
Work safely in heat and outdoor environments
Operate heavy tools and plumbing equipment safely
Pay:
25.00-28.00+ per hour.
DOE Schedule:
Full time/ Monday-Friday |
Typical Hours:
7:00 AM - 5:00
