Commercial Plumber

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems on commercial construction and renovation projects. This position requires the ability to read blueprints, work efficiently as part of a team, and ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with local plumbing codes and company standards. This position may require travel and working out of town for select projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, assemble, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems including water, sanitary, gas, and specialty piping systems Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and plumbing drawings Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipe using hand and power tools Install fixtures, valves, pumps, and plumbing equipment according to project specifications Test plumbing systems for leaks and proper functionality Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues efficiently Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and other trades to maintain project schedules Maintain a clean and organized job site Follow all company safety procedures and attend required safety meetings Travel out of town for assigned commercial projects, including overnight stays when required

Qualifications:

3+ years of commercial plumbing experience preferred Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, installation methods, and materials Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Experience using plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Plumbing license or certification (preferred, if required by state/local regulations) Willingness and ability to travel for project assignments

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50+ lbs Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces Ability to work in varying weather and job site conditions Ability to travel and stay overnight for extended project durations when necessary
