In this vital role, you will oversee complex plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance across diverse construction sites and commercial settings. Your mechanical knowledge, hands-on skills, and leadership will ensure that all plumbing systems are installed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your extensive experience in construction plumbing while contributing to high-quality building projects that meet client expectations. Duties Lead and execute plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance on commercial and residential construction sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate system layout and installation. Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding gear, and other construction tools to complete tasks efficiently. Conduct construction estimating for plumbing projects, including material takeoffs and labor requirements. Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for pipe installation, remodeling projects, or system upgrades. Ensure compliance with safety standards such as OSHA regulations while managing multiple field service operations. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to coordinate work schedules and meet project deadlines. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed on-site. Read schematics and mechanical diagrams related to HVAC systems or complex piping networks for troubleshooting or upgrades. Demonstrate proficiency in basic math calculations necessary for measurements, pipe sizing, and layout accuracy. Apply carpentry skills when needed for framing or supporting plumbing fixtures during installation or remodeling projects. Skills Extensive experience in construction estimating and project planning for plumbing systems. Strong background in construction plumbing techniques across commercial and residential settings. Proficient in welding, pipe threading, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems related to plumbing integration is highly desirable. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and construction site safety protocols. Ability to perform field service tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Knowledge of remodeling practices, maintenance procedures, and handyman skills applicable to plumbing projects. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for transportation between job sites.
Pay:
$33.59 - $40.45 per hour
