Job Description
We are Growing! Join the Cool Air team as a Residential Plumber in the Marietta/Atlanta area! Cool Air Mechanical is actively seeking a full-time Plumbers to diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems. Whether customers need us to install full piping and new fixtures or simply need a drain unclogged, we have them covered. You will be responsible for diagnoses, service, and repair of all aspects of residential plumbing including but not limited to gas line installation and testing, hot water tank and tank-less installation and service, shower valve installation and repair, as well as kitchen faucets and garbage disposals. Our mission is to provide quality residential plumbing and create happy satisfied customers for life. We're looking for a residential plumber that also has strong communication and technical skills. If you have experience in residential plumbing, and your friendly personality makes customers happy, then we want to talk to you! This position works Monday through Friday with rotating weekends as needed. Our Service Plumbers are provided with take-home vehicles stocked with company-provided tools, parts, & paid uniforms. Cool Air Mechanical also provides free CEU's, and technicians receive a company-issued cell phone and tablet. Technicians can make $60K-$125K annually with our performance pay plan.
Responsibilities:
Complete plumbing, drain cleaning, and other related in-home service calls Build and establish customer rapport to ensure we are providing great service Educate and assist customers on their home, finance options, and maintenance plans Provides technical support to customers Understand your sales criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals Documents work by taking photos and completing paperwork on each job Work alongside customer service representatives and dispatch team members to ensure overall success of the business Be professional and knowledgeable: keep current on manufacturer's products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work, as necessary Troubleshoot, diagnose identify, and repair residential plumbing ranging from faucet repairs, and water heater installations, to repipes with appropriate tools and materials for repair Train and mentor apprentices as needed Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, and retreats Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck Provide exceptional customer service. Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to ensure the satisfaction of our customer base and to win referrals and repeat business Commit to high standards of ethics, honesty, and integrityRequirements:
GA State Plumbing License (preferred) 5 years of plumbing experience Possess basic hand tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent attention to detail Self-motivated, responsible, punctual and professional Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen Must be able to multi-task and work independently as well as contribute to the overall success of the team Must have a valid driver's license, possess and maintain a satisfactory driving recordBenefits and Additional Compensation:
