Basic Function:
To perform all services of the trade including, but not limited to, inspecting, repairing, modifying, installing and maintaining plumbing fixtures in heating, water and drain systems. Assembling and repairing pipe systems of various shapes, sizes and pressures and cleaning blocked drains, toilets, sinks, manholes, and lift stations. Performance Responsibilities & Requirements Responsibilities and Requirements include but are not limited to: Knowledge in plumbing techniques and procedures, Knowledge in trouble shooting plumbing problems, Repair, service and install fixtures and lines, Use locating equipment and camera, Knowledge of sewer jetting and inspection, Read plumbing diagrams, Knowledge of lift station repairs, Demonstrates appropriate safety, hygiene and health standards, Demonstrates safety of work area, Adheres to schedules; demonstrates punctuality, Willing to be called out in emergency situations, Demonstrates flexibility and adjusts to change, Demonstrates courtesy and tactfulness in interpersonal relations, Demonstrates dependability, Demonstrates understanding and implements responsibilities, Demonstrates ability to use good judgment and make good decisions, Must speak English in order to communicate with co-workers and customers, Must understand enough math to verify proper billing of time and parts and be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure consistent with the duties of this position, Must have full use of the body and senses to be able to maintain and operate assigned equipment safely, Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record and must pass extensive background check, Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and be able to climb and balance on equipment, Must be able to crawl in tight spaces and bend and stoop around equipment, Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds, Must have excellent eye sight and depth perception, Must be a US citizen or legal resident alien, Has knowledge of tools required, Bilingual capability in Spanish would be a plus
Working Conditions:
The work is performed on job sites which may be subject to extremes of temperature & humidity both in indoor and outdoor settings. The work surface can include unfinished crawl spaces and attics as well as roof tops, walk-in freezers, and concrete floors of pads. There can be moving machinery and some work must be done in hazardous places. This position requires, besides walking, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing the arms, legs wrists and fingers. There may be exposure to fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, sewage, or vibration. There is a risk of injury if work is done improperly.

Body Positions:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods of time. Employee may also be required to stand and/or walk for long periods of time while completing other duties & responsibilities.

The employee must have a full range of body movements including the use of his/her hands to finger, handle, and feel objects such as computer equipment. The ability to bend the body, to reach for objects and to crouch when needed are also required.

The employee must have command of all five senses: sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. These vision requirements in area must be sufficient to shift in focus from computer screens to close forms.
Strength:

Ensure that area is picked up at the end of each job and each day, Use provided tools and equipment with care, Request parts from the plumbing inventory or parts house as needed, Clean tools and equipment as required, Keep Field Supervisor apprised of any problems or complaints, Maintain safe work site, Remain updated on code changes as they relate to plumbing Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance, Follow written and oral instructions, Any other task or duty as may be occasionally assigned by management.
