Plumber Job Description As a Plumber, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing residential plumbing systems. You will install water heaters, fixtures, and piping systems, rod out clogged drains, and consult with customers to determine the best options for repair or diagnosis. Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a professional demeanor while ensuring compliance with local codes and safety standards is essential. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems. Install water heaters, fixtures, and piping systems. Rod out clogged drains and plumbing systems. Consult with customers on the best options for diagnosing or repairing their plumbing issues. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor. Ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards. Complete work orders accurately and on time. Essential Skills Construction Plumbing Service Possession of an apprentice card or journeyman license Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plumbing systems for residential customers Experience with PVC, copper, cast iron, and piping systems Soldering skills Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Commitment to safety and compliance with local codes Professional demeanor and reliability Experience with water heater installation and repair Familiarity with advanced plumbing systems such as tankless water heaters and filtration systems Basic plumbing knowledge for integrated home systems Comfort using mobile work order and scheduling apps Why Work Here?
