We strive to provide a positive, fun and rewarding career for everyone employed at Huemann Water and we are seeking a dedicated and skilled licensed or apprentice plumber to join our team in this rapidly growing industry. This role is essential for ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of water treatment systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in plumbing, construction, or other related fields. You will be responsible for performing various tasks that contribute to the safe and efficient treatment of water, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Our plumbing technicians generally work M-F 8:00-4:30, with opportunity for overtime if desired. The position generally consists of installing water softeners and reverse osmosis systems, but also includes many other plumbing and other labor-intensive tasks. A company van and most tools are provided but remain at work. On the job training will be provided, and endless learning should be expected. Responsibilities Installation of water filtration equipment Operate and maintain water treatment equipment and systems. Conduct routine inspections and testing of water quality to ensure compliance with safety standards. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues related to water treatment processes. Utilize power tools and hand tools for installation, maintenance, and repair tasks. Read blueprints and technical diagrams to assist in system installations or modifications. Perform pipe threading and plumbing tasks as required. Lift heavy materials and equipment safely on construction sites or during remodeling projects. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in plumbing or construction environments. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Experience in reading blueprints or technical drawings is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks. Previous experience in water treatment or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
