Job Description

Shank Brothers Inc. is a family-owned plumbing and heating company specializing in new construction projects, including hotels, apartment complexes, and nursing homes. We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing Foreman to lead and oversee our team on active job sites. Position Overview As a Working Plumbing Foreman, you will lead a crew of plumbers while remaining hands-on in the field. You will be responsible for coordinating projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and maintaining compliance with all codes and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of plumbers on new construction projects Plan and coordinate plumbing installations in collaboration with general contractors and other trades Ensure all work meets code requirements and company quality standards Manage materials, including ordering, receiving, and job site organization Oversee change orders, submittals, and inspections Train and mentor apprentices and journeyman plumbers Troubleshoot and resolve complex plumbing issues Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Ensure a safe, clean, and organized job site at all times Work Environment New construction projects only (no service calls or drain cleaning) Collaborative, team-oriented job sites Work Schedule Typical start time: 7:30 AM Typical end time: 4:00 PM No on-call work No mandatory overtime Requirements Valid Plumbing License Proven experience in construction plumbing Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications Experience coordinating with general contractors and multiple trades Reliable transportation Professional references required What We Offer Steady, full-time work in new construction Family-owned company culture Consistent schedule supporting work-life balance Additional Information Military veterans are encouraged to apply This is an on-site position (not remote)
