Responsibilities Assist lead plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems according to project plans and schematics Handle hand tools and power tools safely to cut, assemble, and install pipes and fixtures Support the setup of construction sites by preparing materials, organizing tools, and ensuring safety protocols are followed Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and layout requirements Help with pipe threading, fitting, and assembly to ensure precise connections in plumbing systems Assist with basic HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) tasks related to plumbing installations when needed Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly while adhering to safety standards Experience Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations Exposure to construction site environments, including remodeling or maintenance projects Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and mechanical systems such as HVAC or plumbing is advantageous Hands-on experience with carpentry or handyman tasks enhances your ability to support diverse project needs Demonstrated ability to follow safety guidelines and work effectively within a team environment Embark on a rewarding career path where your enthusiasm for construction meets practical skill-building!
