The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, with experience in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure the efficient installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems. The Plumber will work on various projects, including new installations, remodels, and routine maintenance tasks. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Perform remodeling tasks related to plumbing, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. Operate power tools safely and efficiently for various plumbing tasks. Weld pipes as necessary for specific installations or repairs. Plumb fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters according to specifications. Execute construction plumbing tasks including pipe threading and fitting installations. Read blueprints to understand project layouts and specifications accurately. Provide maintenance person services as needed for minor repairs or adjustments related to plumbing systems. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Experience Proven experience as a Plumber or similar role in the construction industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using power tools. Familiarity with welding techniques and their application in plumbing. Experience in construction plumbing practices, including pipe threading and installation. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively. A background in remodeling projects is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
