Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and skilled Commercial Plumbers to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial plumbing systems in commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications. The ideal commercial plumber candidate will possess a strong foundation in commercial construction plumbing, mechanical systems, and the use of various tools and techniques essential for large-scale plumbing projects. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality construction projects while advancing your expertise in the plumbing trade. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install plumbing systems in commercial settings. Install, repair, and maintain piping, fixtures, valves, and related commercial plumbing components using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment. Perform welding tasks as needed to join metal pipes or repair existing plumbing infrastructure. Utilize construction site experience to ensure safety protocols are followed during all phases of installation and repair. Safety lifting of pipes, fixtures, and materials to facilitate efficient workflow. Collaborate with project managers, electricians, HVAC technicians, and carpenters to coordinate installation efforts on-site. Troubleshoot mechanical issues within plumbing systems using schematic diagrams and mechanical knowledge. Read and follow schematics accurately for complex plumbing layouts and modifications. Assist with remodeling or renovation projects by assembling new fixtures or reconfiguring existing systems. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety regulations. Experience Proven experience working on commercial construction sites with a focus on commercial plumbing projects. Strong knowledge of construction plumbing techniques, pipe threading, and schematic reading. Familiarity with HVAC systems and their integration within building infrastructure. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Knowledge of carpentry or handyman skills beneficial for multi-trade coordination. Ability to operate construction vehicles or a commercial driving license preferred but not mandatory. Prior experience in remodeling or assembly work is advantageous. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with schematics understanding essential for troubleshooting complex systems.
