In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet safety standards, adhere to blueprints and schematics, and operate efficiently. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment on construction sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts. Perform welding tasks when required for pipe connections or repairs, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or remodeling projects. Utilize HVAC knowledge for integrating plumbing with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems when necessary. Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless construction workflows. Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems post-installation to ensure optimal operation. Qualifications Valid license as a professional plumber with proven field experience in construction plumbing projects. Demonstrated experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of construction processes and safety protocols. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and mechanical diagrams related to plumbing systems. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment. Knowledge of HVAC systems, schematics, and basic math for measurements and calculations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments for extended periods.
