Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing operations meet safety standards, plumbing codes, and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial buildings to remodeling jobs and boilers, utilizing your technical skills and mechanical knowledge to deliver high-quality results efficiently and safely. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and gas systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and building codes Read and interpret detailed blueprints and schematics to accurately execute plumbing layouts and system designs Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with plumbing, HVAC, and gas piping systems during installation or maintenance phases Assemble plumbing components and fixtures efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Perform remodeling, maintenance, and field service tasks as required across different construction environments Perform installation of water heaters, boilers and water filtration systems Experience Proven experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of construction plumbing practices Proven experience working on Drain/Vent piping, water piping, and gas piping Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Hands-on experience with pipe threading, soldering, installation of fixtures, and system troubleshooting Familiarity with HVAC boiler systems, mechanical knowledge related to plumbing installations, and general construction site safety procedures Previous experience or involvement in remodeling projects is a plus Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations Valid driver's license & MA Jouneyman Plumbing License Ability to properly train apprentice plumbers in rough/final plumbing installation in accordance with Massachusetts plumbing code Join us as a Journeyman Plumber where your expertise will contribute directly to building safe, efficient plumbing systems that stand the test of time.
