This role is essential in ensuring the highest standards of plumbing safety, code compliance, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead plumbing projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely and accurate completion Supervise and mentor junior plumbers and apprentices, fostering a culture of safety and quality workmanship Conduct thorough inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend effective solutions Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards Manage plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair tasks, including pipefitting, fixture installation, and troubleshooting Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other trades to ensure cohesive project execution Requirements Current Master Plumbing license in Mass 5+ years of experience in plumbing, with a strong emphasis on residential and commercial projects Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and tools Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently Experience in project management and team leadership Knowledge of green plumbing practices and sustainable materials Familiarity with plumbing software for estimating and scheduling Expertise in plumbing systems including potable water, drainage, and gas systems Proficiency with plumbing tools and equipment, including pipe threading and bending machines Knowledge of building codes and regulations relevant to plumbing Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
