• Full-time About us HPC Services is seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team.

As a Journeyman Plumber, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems in various residential and commercial settings. Your expertise in blueprint reading, pipe threading, and construction plumbing will be essential in ensuring the successful completion of projects. Qualified candidates have a varied background of both residential and commercial plumbing systems, wells, and septic. Plumbers will be working in the tri-county area of Southern Maryland with some work in Washington, DC. Backflow license is required or able to obtained within 90 days of your start. ```

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local plumbing codes
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout and configuration of plumbing systems
• Inspect plumbing systems and identify any issues or potential problems
• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and HVAC technicians, to complete projects requiring multiple skill sets
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
• Install, service, and maintain tanked and tankless water heaters
• Can cut/fit/thread cast iron
• Use k50 and spartan 300
• Ability to service and maintenance all aspects of plumbing in both residential and commercial applications ```

Experience:

``` To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Journeyman Plumber license (Master preferred)
• Proven experience working as a Journeyman Plumber
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of plumbing systems
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation
• Ability to assemble, install, and repair various types of pipes and fixtures
• Familiarity with construction plumbing techniques and practices
• Ability to work with a team or independently
