Responsibilities Assist experienced plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites. Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing and HVAC systems. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding equipment safely and effectively under supervision. Support the assembly and installation of piping systems, fixtures, and mechanical components following project specifications. Participate in remodeling, maintenance tasks, and field service activities to ensure quality workmanship. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Develop skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, basic math calculations for measurements and layouts, and understanding mechanical systems. Experience No prior professional experience required; however, familiarity with construction sites or handyman work is a plus. Basic knowledge of construction or plumbing concepts is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Experience with hand tools, power tools, carpentry, or welding can accelerate your learning curve. Strong interest in mechanical systems such as HVAC or pipe installation is desirable. Ability to follow instructions carefully while developing independent problem-solving skills. Demonstrated enthusiasm for working outdoors on construction sites with a team-oriented mindset.
