Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Master Plumber to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the growth of our new plumbing division at Midway Electric In part you will lead plumbing projects from start to finish, ensuring all work meets safety standards, building codes, and client specifications. Your expertise will drive the successful completion of residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing installations, repairs, and remodeling projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your knowledge and construction experience in a fast-paced environment that values quality craftsmanship and proactive problem-solving. Responsibilities Oversee and perform complex plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and building codes. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and estimates. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project progression and timely completion. Conduct construction estimating for plumbing components, materials, and labor needs to support project planning and budgeting. Lead field service activities including troubleshooting mechanical issues related to plumbing. Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with remodeling, maintenance, or new construction projects. Ensure all work aligns with schematic diagrams and mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including schematics updates and inspection reports. Support team members with handyman skills such as carpentry or basic remodeling tasks when needed. Experience Ability to lead the division as it grows. Proven experience in plumbing with a strong understanding of commercial and residential systems. Demonstrated ability in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical troubleshooting. Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to plumbing projects. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and practices for heavy lifting and field service operations. Prior experience in remodeling or maintenance projects is advantageous.
