Overview Join our dynamic team as a Plumbing Assistant and play a vital role in supporting skilled plumbers on a variety of construction and maintenance projects. This energetic position offers hands-on experience in plumbing systems, construction site operations, and mechanical tasks. Duties Assist lead plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across commercial and residential sites. Prepare work areas by organizing hand tools, power tools, and materials needed for plumbing tasks. Support pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and assembly activities following blueprints and schematics. Help with remodeling, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing fixtures and systems. Operate basic power tools and hand tools safely to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings to ensure accurate installation. Contribute to site safety by adhering to construction protocols and assisting with site cleanup and organization. Experience Previous experience in construction or plumbing is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Familiarity with construction site operations, use of hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills are advantageous. Knowledge of construction plumbing, welding, HVAC systems, or carpentry can enhance your effectiveness in this role. Experience reading blueprints or schematics helps in understanding project specifications. Hands-on experience with pipe threading, assembly, remodeling projects, or field service work is a plus. Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing components or handyman experience will support your success here. A proactive attitude combined with the ability to follow detailed instructions ensures your growth as part of our team.
