Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment on construction sites. Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks to create durable plumbing configurations. Conduct remodeling projects by replacing or upgrading existing plumbing infrastructure with attention to detail. Operate heavy lifting equipment safely to handle pipes and materials efficiently on-site. Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate work schedules, adhere to safety protocols, and meet project deadlines. Utilize HVAC knowledge when integrating plumbing systems within heating, ventilation, and air conditioning setups as needed. Skills Strong construction site experience with a focus on construction plumbing projects. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing and mechanical systems. Skilled in pipe threading, welding techniques, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Mechanical knowledge of plumbing components, HVAC systems, and remodeling processes. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics. Familiarity with schematics for troubleshooting complex plumbing or HVAC issues.
