Plumbing Assistant Carolina Air | Carthage, NC Carolina Air is hiring a Plumbing Assistant to support residential and light commercial plumbing work in the Carthage, NC area. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, eager to learn the plumbing trade, and takes pride in doing quality work. If you're looking to start a long-term career in plumbing and want hands-on training alongside experienced plumbers, this is a great opportunity. What You'll Do Assist with residential and light commercial plumbing services and installations Support lead plumbers with jobsite setup, material handling, and cleanup Help install and repair water heaters, fixtures, piping, drains, and related components Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials Follow safety procedures and company standards Represent Carolina Air with professionalism and a positive attitude What We're Looking For Interest in learning the plumbing trade (prior experience a plus, not required) Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in crawlspaces, trenches, and outdoor environments Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong work ethic, dependability, and team-first mindset Ability to follow instructions and work well with others What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities On-the-job training and mentorship Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and paid holidays Clear growth path to Plumber, Journeyman, and beyond Why Carolina Air?
